This firm, which is located in an idyllic part of Victoria, provides accounting, tax and advisory services to individuals, businesses and SMSFs. There is a good mix of younger and older clients, clients with investments and investment properties etc. Due to current resourcing within the firm, the acceptance of new clients is limited, although this does represent an ongoing opportunity with new client enquiries frequent.

The firm’s tax lodgements equated to an average of $613 per return for the current year consisting of 498 ‘I’ returns or 41.6% of revenue, 14 partnerships or 6.2% of fees, 42 trusts or 22.5% of billings, 16 companies or 6.7% of revenue, and 19 super funds at 17.2% of fees. The balance of revenue is made up of BAS and corporate secretarial services.

There were 333 client groups serviced during FY 2024, representing an average annual fee of just over $1.1K per annum. Some 16.5% of this revenue comes from fees in the $2K – $3K range, 18.9% is provided from fees in the $3K – $5K range, and 25% of income originates from annual fees of $5K – $10K.   

The top 20 client groups, presumably for the 2024 financial year, contributed around 30% of overall revenue including the largest client at 2.5%. Many of these groups are located on the Bellarine Peninsula. Many have been serviced by the firm since its inception. The key contacts for these groups range in age from their mid forties to their mid eighties, with almost half aged below 60 years of age.

Xero, Handiledger, Suite Files, Class and Now Infinity software is utilised within the firm.
